How to Get in Touch with us at Baker’s Lane Biscotti!

Many of our offerings have come from you, our customers! When I first started BLB, I had anise biscotti and pizzelle. After all, these were the two Italian cookies that everyone loved getting from my mom, and then, me. After all, it was what we grew up with.

Once I started getting to know my customers, they asked for almond biscotti. I tried it and folks were raving about them and they quickly became a hot seller. Then, a friend and fellow church member asked if I could add some chocolate to the biscotti, as she wanted to gift friends and family with them during the holidays. That was the beginning of our chocolate-drizzled anise and almond biscotti. No matter how many dark-chocolate-drizzled almond biscotti I bake, there is never enough! They quickly became a fan favorite.

As a dietitian, I know that many people have specific dietary concerns, which often comes with food restrictions. One of them is gluten. I had the thought to offer gluten-free biscotti, but was a little nervous about the end product and the fact that dealing with gluten-free batter can be challenging (the cookies fall apart, especially if you have to cut them!!). When the requests for gluten-free offerings became consistent enough to not dismiss, I experimented with the recipe and had friends and family sample them. They all agreed that, while they weren’t exactly like the original, they were definitely worth offering to those who couldn’t experience the original. This resulted in our gluten-free anise and almond biscotti! It is such a pleasure to see the surprise on the faces of customers who expect no GF options, and then to hear the gratitude for making these treats without the gluten so they can enjoy. It fills me with joy that such a simple thing can brighten someone’s day!

I guess, what I am trying to convey, is that, if you have a suggestion, we would love to hear from you! Please fill in your information below. Who knows, maybe you will have the winning idea for the next new product from Baker’s Lane Biscotti!
